Chapter 50
Sec 50-3 FARM ANIMALS AT LARGE: No horses, cattle, sheep, swine, or poultry shall be allowed to run at large in the village.
Sec 50-4 KEEPING CERTAIN ANIMALS AND FOWL: (A)
RESTRICTIONS. No person shall hereafter keep or house horses, cattle, sheep,
swine, poultry or any animals other than household pets, and no persons shall
house or harbor more than
three (3) dogs over six (6) months old within the limits of the village.
Village code requires all dogs to be leashed and under control. No dogs may be allowed to be at large. No person in charge or owning a dog shall cause a nuisance or commit the defiling of public or private property.

Chapter 90
CURFEW The Village has established a curfew time for juveniles (any person under the age of 18). It is unlawful for any juvenile to remain on or upon a public place (any place the public has access to including streets, roads, sidewalks, alleys, parks, parking lots, and any public buildings) within the Village from 10:00pm until 5:00am all days of the week. ** Unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Chapter 174
Mandatory recycling is implemented in the Village with
items picked up on alternating weeks.

Items Recycled Are:
-Newspaper/Brown Bags/Magazines/Catalogs
-Cardboard
-Clear Glass Bottles
-Metal Cans & Coat Hangers
-Sorted Plastics (Recycling #'s 1, 2-& 5)
-Brush (Cut brush, shrubs and limbs 4 feet or less in length. Pile neatly at curbside. Brush that has metal, paper, building materials, garbage, or pet waste will not be picked up.)
-Annual Leaf Pickup (Only leaves, NO sticks, Please pile neatly at curbside)
SOLID WASTE: Garbage, Recyclable, and Heavy Metal should be placed at curbside After 6:00pm the day prior to pickup. There is no pickup of building materials or demolition material at any time. Heavy Metal: Appliances must have freon removed and certified sticker. Tires are not be put at curbside but should be taken to: North County Transfer Station Webster Road, Fredonia 672-2200

TRASH DISPOSAL: Approved blue trash bags purchased at the Village Clerk's Office are the only acceptable receptacles for trash. You may use regular trash bags, if they are inside the blue bags when put at the curb.
Blue Bags are also available at Quality Markets Jackson at Central Ave. and Hanover Central, Central Ave at Hanover St.
VILLAGE CODE: Trees and Shrubs
Chapter 190
Sec 190-1 TRIMMING OR REMOVAL PROHIBITED: No person shall cut down, trim, destroy or in any manner injure any ornamental shade tree, shrubbery or flowers planted in any public street, place, public square or park except by permission of the Board of Trustees.

Chapter 201
Sec 201-21 ALL NIGHT PARKING PROHIBITED (Winter Parking): The Village prohibits parking on all streets between the hours of 2:00am to 6:00am from November 15th until April 1st of the following year.
Sec 201-24 TRUCK PARKING RESTRICTION: (A) No truck, trailer or tractor-trailer combination shall park on Main Street, Central Ave, and Howard Street between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., except for the purposes of loading and unloading.
(B) No truck, trailer or tractor-trailer combination having a total gross weight in excess of three (3) tons shall park, stand or stop on any street or highway in the village except for the immediate delivery or pickup of merchandise. This provision shall not apply to recreation vehicles.
(C) No truck, trailer or tractor-trailer combination having a total gross weight in excess of three (3) tons shall park, stand or stop on any municipal parking lot or other municipal-owned land used for parking, except for the immediate delivery or pickup of merchandise.
Sec 201-26 FORTY-EIGHT-HOUR PARKING LIMIT: No vehicle shall be parked on any street or highway in the village for a period longer than forty-eight (48) hours.

Chapter 215
SATELLITE ANTENNA An application to install or erect a satellite dish shall be obtained in the Code Enforcement Office and a fee will be collected.
BUILDING PERMITS An application can be obtained in the Code Enforcement Office and a fee will be collected. **Please allow approximately 2 weeks for acquiring a permit before beginning work.
SWIMMING POOLS The Village requires swimming pools be installed in a certain manner and conform to electrical code and safety requirements. A permit is required and a fee will be collected at time of submission of the permit application.
